Our Campus Community Funds are built on collaboration with our customers at each of our London campuses; Broadgate, Paddington Central, and Regent’s Place, which are delivered in partnership with The London Community Foundation.

We created the Campus Community Funds to scale our collective social impact. Each Fund offers the opportunity to connect like-minded, action-focused businesses with our local charity partners to create long-lasting social impact, hyper locally.

From 2023 – 2024 we have donated £170k+ to exceptional local organisations making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable groups, locally. This is as a result of the generous contributions of our campus customers and partners of including, Western Asset Management, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Herbert Smith Freehills, Peel Hunt, Sir Robert McAlpine, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Coyle, Meta, SEFE Energy, CIS Security, Visa, Trend Micro, Finastra, CC Land and British Land.

By collaborating these organisations have been able to financially contribute to local charities addressing a wide range of diverse issues such as the mental and physical wellbeing of children, education, social mobility, social inclusion, improving employment rates and so much more. Together we decide which local organisations to support both financially and with employee volunteering

Below we share an insight into the impact made over the last 12 months:

1.    Broadgate

Stitches in Time

A community arts and education charity based in Tower Hamlets. They focus on using creativity, particularly textiles and crafts, to bring people together, build skills, and foster social inclusion.

With the Broadgate Community Fund donation, they were able to expand their ‘Sewing for Work Skills’ programme, integrating employability skills training with existing textile and English-learning projects in Tower Hamlets. Over 12 months, the programme directly supported 154 marginalised women, helping them gain transferable skills and improve employability through personalised support, volunteer placements, and confidence-building activities.

2.    Regent’s Place

Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre (SLYC)

Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre (SLYC), located in the heart of Regents’ Park Ward, primarily serves underserved young people aged 8 – 19 through different youth projects.

Since receiving a donation from the Regent’s Place Community Fund, SLYC has successfully supported 660 members of the local community. Key services include a women’s fitness project that attracted 260 participants within its first month, a senior youth club for 13-19-year-olds, an after-school club for 8-11-year-olds, and an eight-week holiday programme that engaged 200 children with a diverse range of activities.

3.    Paddington Central

Middle Eastern Women and Society Organisation (MEWSO)

MEWSO is a women’s charity dedicated to supporting migrant women from ethnic minority communities, primarily from Middle Eastern, North African, and Asian backgrounds.

Through conversational English lessons, therapeutic art workshops, and welfare support, the charity helps refugee and migrant women reduce social isolation, build confidence, and rebuild their lives in London.

Thanks to the donation from Paddington Central Community Fund, MEWSO delivered 26 Functional English classes to 48 women. One standout story is Mayada, a 65-year-old Syrian woman who, after gaining confidence in her English classes, proposed starting a community choir and is now in the  planning stages, of bringing her idea to life.
